Edinburgh part 2. Tha food!

So I really dont have tons of more pics to show you guys, but I thought you all would like to see and read about our bravest act on the trip. Ladies (and if there is any gentlemen reading my blog) I give you Haggis. The traditional Scottish dish memorialised as the national dish.

Haggis is a dish containing sheep's 'pluck' (heart, liver and lungs), minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally boiled in the animal's stomach for approximately three hours.

(Copied and pasted from wikipedia, so ignore the linked words, unless your uncommonly interested in Haggis. :p)

Looks yummy dont it?

Thats what the taste of boiled heart, liver and lungs in an animals stomach does to you...

We all survived as you see, but I doubt if I`ll ever try it again. Not even if you paid me.

Ok, maybe if you paid me... a lot!

Edinburgh... My kinda town!

Travelling to Scotland has been a dream of mine since I ... dunno... as long as I can remember, so I was really looking forward to this trip. I didnt get to see the highlands and moors and stuff but OH BOY Edinburgh was good enough for me!

Sooo pretty! And kind people, and cool dialect!

At Hard Rock Cafe.

This is where J.K.Rowling wrote the first Harry Potter book.

We went to see "We will rock you" wich is a musical based on Queens greatest hits, set somwhere in the future. Music as we know it has died, (they believe it had something to do with something called"x-factor") and the main characters, a guy that hears phrases from the past in his head and a girl, set out on a search for the hidden instruments to retreive the soul of real music and rock & roll!

We took a long shot and called the same day as the show, and waddaya know!! 4 seats for us! Not bad seats either! And the show was sooo amazingly good! The music was brilliant and it was really funny as well. Take a look at the videos below. Not the best quality tough:

Edinburgh Castle by night.

This store had some amazing shop-windows. Sadly I only got this pic...

Finally somone treating me like the queen I am... :p

More pictures to come! :)
